About the Protein Biology Team

The Protein Biology team works on large-scale functional validation of antibodies, with a focus on reagent quality and specificity.

The team’s activities include:

  • Data mining and processing
  • Western blotting
  • Immunofluorescence imaging
  • Immunohistochemistry
  • Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP)
  • Gene silencing
  • Antibody validation and characterization

The program focuses on high-quality product validation and creating product information to support research applications.

Role & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will contribute to the antibody validation workflow and support target biology validation using innovative experimental methods.

Antibody Validation & Protein Biology

  • Contribute to antibody validation and characterization activities.
  • Apply knowledge of key aspects of protein biology to deliver antibody validation results.
  • Understand target biology validation requirements.
  • Validate antibodies for reproducibility.
  • Develop and generate datasets that support product differentiation.
  • Demonstrate scientific proficiency in experimental planning and execution.

Experimental Design & Laboratory Research

  • Design experiments carefully to meet program goals.
  • Work with cell and molecular biology experimental workflows.
  • Support the design and development of protein assays.
  • Maintain accurate records of experimental results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.
  • Follow defined schedules and maintain strong attention to detail.

Immunoassays & Analytical Techniques

The role involves experience with immunoassay techniques such as:

  • Western Blotting
  • Immunofluorescence
  • Immunohistochemistry
  • Flow Cytometry
  • ELISA
  • Co-immunoprecipitation for protein-protein interaction studies

Research Data & Literature

  • Regularly review scientific literature.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have either:

  • Master’s degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience, or
