Key Responsibilities
- Analyze germline and somatic next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.
- Perform variant annotation, filtering, prioritization, and interpretation.
- Support variant curation using databases such as ClinVar, OMIM, gnomAD, and COSMIC.
- Assist with clinical genetic reports, genotype–phenotype correlation, and literature reviews.
- Support quality control activities and workflow documentation.
- Stay updated with current genomics guidelines and practices.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
Educational Background:
- Genetics
- Genomics
- Bioinformatics
- Biotechnology
- Life Sciences
- Related fields
Experience: 0–1 years in clinical genomics or a related area.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic understanding of NGS data and genetic variants, including SNVs, InDels, and CNVs.
- Familiarity with genomic databases such as ClinVar, OMIM, and gnomAD.
- Knowledge of ACMG/AMP guidelines.
- Basic familiarity with Linux and command-line tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
