Job Responsibilities: Data Programmer
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting clinical data programming activities, working with internal teams and helping to maintain our accurate and efficient data management processes.
1. Clinical Data Management During Study Start-Up
- Lead the data management activities during the study start-up phase.
- Coordinate with the appropriate departments to support the study requirements.
- Help to establish data management processes for clinical studies.
- Make sure that the requisite data related activities are properly triggered.
2. Coordination with Clinical Data Management Teams
- Act as the data liaison between Clinical Data Management and all other Labcorp departments.
- Coordinate with various business units to support project requirements.
- Work with the Clinical Data Manager on the day to day activities assigned.
- Keep the lines of communication open to ensure the data management operations run smoothly.
3. Client Query Management
- Manage client queries relating to data programming work.
- Coordinate with the appropriate teams to get the right information.
- Follow up on the open queries.
- Support the timely resolution of client requirements.
4. Data Transfer Management
- Create standard data transfer formats as per client requirement.
- Make sure the data transfer formats are in line with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
- Record data transfer activities.
- Maintain protocol portfolios to track workload and productivity.
5. Study Maintenance Support
- Provide ongoing data management support during the period of clinical study maintenance.
- Coordinate with the relevant teams to deal with the operational requirements.
- Help to maintain uninterrupted client services.
- Support the routine data management activities across the study.
6. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve our existing processes.
- Assist in the initiation of process improvement activities.
- Support operational efficiency and consistent data management practices.
7. Team Quality Review
- Review team work for simple to moderately complex tasks.
- Help to keep the accuracy and quality of the work we’re assigned to.
- Identify any errors or inconsistencies and justify how they would be resolved.
8. Work Allocation and Triage
- Carry out the triage for the work assessment.
- Support workload assessment and work allocation.
- Make sure the tasks are allocated in accordance with team requirements.
9. Training and Mentoring
- Mentor the newly hired team members.
- Support the training requirements as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Assist the SME and manager with team training activities.
- Help to maintain consistency in the way we do our work and in our operational knowledge.
10. Team Metrics and Reporting
- Assist the SME and manager in the preparation of team performance metrics.
- Support the maintenance of the operational reports.
- Help to track workload and productivity across the team.
11. Department-Level Coordination
- Represent the team at department level meetings.
- Communicate relevant operational updates.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on their respective responsibilities.
