1. Quality Assurance (QA)
Key Areas: IPQA, QMS, Laboratory Quality Assurance, Validation, QA Documentation, Compliance, Vendor and Audit Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process quality assurance activities in sterile manufacturing.
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Review and approve documents, including SOPs, BMRs, and BPRs.
- Review batch records and manage change control.
- Conduct validation activities involving processes, equipment, and cleaning.
- Handle deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and CAPA.
- Support regulatory and customer audits, including USFDA and EU audits.
- Maintain GMP compliance and promote a strong quality culture.
2. Quality Control (QC)
Key Areas: Raw Material Testing, In-Process Testing, Finished Product Testing, Stability, Microbiology, and Instrumental Analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, and finished sterile products.
- Operate and analyse samples using HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution, and other analytical instruments.
- Perform method validation, method transfer, and routine testing.
- Conduct microbial testing and environmental monitoring, where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacopoeial and regulatory requirements, including IP, USP, and BP.
- Maintain documentation, data integrity, and laboratory compliance.
- Perform stability sample analysis and trend reviews.
3. Analytical Development Laboratory (ADL)
Key Areas: Analytical Method Development, Method Validation, Method Transfer, Instrument Handling, Troubleshooting, and Technical Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise analytical methods for injectable products.
- Develop and validate analytical methods using HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Visible spectroscopy, and dissolution testing.
- Transfer analytical methods and technology to the Quality Control department.
- Troubleshoot analytical instruments.
- Prepare documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Handle stability studies, forced degradation studies, and method robustness studies.
- Prepare analytical reports and interpret data.
