Job Role & Responsibilities
HCC Medical Coders
- Review and analyze patient medical records.
- Assign accurate diagnosis codes based on HCC guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM coding standards.
- Work with physicians and auditors to resolve coding discrepancies.
- Support accurate reimbursement and risk adjustment.
Quality Analysts
- Conduct audits of coded medical records.
- Ensure coding accuracy and adherence to HCC guidelines.
- Provide feedback and training to coding teams.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in coding quality.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory for experienced coders).
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in HCC coding.
- Certification: Both certified (CPC, CRC, CCS, etc.) and non-certified candidates can apply.
