Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Trainee in Quality Control, you will gain practical experience in analytical and regulatory practices while contributing to the organization’s compliance and quality systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing method verification and validation for compendial/pharmacopeial updates and supplier-driven changes.
- Executing method validation of cleaning verification and preparing related protocols and reports.
- Analyzing raw materials, excipients, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Preparing and reviewing technical documents such as memos, method transfer summaries, validation reports, and specifications.
- Supporting investigations of OOS (Out of Specification)/OOT (Out of Trend) results and identifying assignable causes.
- Conducting cleaning validation activities per defined protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, cGLP, and safety requirements.
- Maintaining laboratory records and ensuring adherence to quality systems.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve departmental outcomes while upholding Apotex values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: MSc in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or BPharm degree.
- Experience: Open to freshers with strong academic backgrounds.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HPLC multi-parameter analysis.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
Relevant courses include: MSc Chemistry, MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences, MSc Biotechnology, MSc Microbiology, BPharm, MPharm.
