Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Senior Research Associate – Synthesis R&D, your responsibilities will include:
- Executing chemical reactions for the synthesis of target molecules and compounds.
- Using efficient synthetic routes and techniques to meet client specifications.
- Ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintaining workplace safety.
- Documenting research activities in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) while ensuring data integrity.
- Purifying compounds using chromatography techniques and interpreting results through NMR, LC-MS, and other analytical tools.
- Collaborating with project teams to deliver client projects on time.
- Supporting intellectual property (IP) specifications and contributing to knowledge-based R&D.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Education: M.Sc Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry.
- Experience: 4–7 years in Synthesis R&D.
- Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms.
- Hands-on expertise in NMR, LC-MS, and chromatography purification techniques.
- Proficiency in documentation and electronic lab notebook management.
- Knowledge of GLP, safety protocols, and IP compliance.
Relevant Courses Include: M.Sc Organic Chemistry, M.Sc Medicinal Chemistry, M.Sc Pharmaceutical Chemistry, M.Sc Industrial Chemistry.
