Job Role & Responsibilities
As an NIOS 2025 intern, you will:
- Gain exposure to National Accounts, Index Numbers, Energy Statistics, Environment Statistics, Social Statistics, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Work on survey subjects such as PLFS, ASI, CPI, AS, UFS, and more.
- Participate in data collection, validation, and analysis activities.
- Contribute to research papers, statistical reports, and survey methodologies.
- Undertake field visits (for Group B interns) with additional allowances.
- Submit a final project report at the end of the internship.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Undergraduates: Completed or appeared in 2nd year exams with at least one paper in Statistics or Mathematics + minimum 75% in Class 12.
- Postgraduates/Research Scholars: At least one paper in Statistics or Mathematics + minimum 70% marks in Graduation.
- Graduates/Postgraduates (within last 2 years): With at least one paper in Statistics or Mathematics + 70% marks.
❌ Are pharmacy graduates eligible?
Pharmacy graduates (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D) are eligible only if their curriculum included a paper in Statistics, Biostatistics, or Mathematics and they meet the marks criteria. Otherwise, they are not eligible.
