Project Details
- Project Title: Preparation and characterization of genistein-loaded polylactic acid / hyaluronic acid (PLA/HA) co-axial nanofiber film for the management of peri-implant mucositis.
- Sponsoring Agency: Department of Health Research (DHR), Government of India (Project Code: SUG2025-1132).
- Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Jitu Halder, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, SOA.
- Tenure: 3 years (36 months) on a contractual basis.

Job Role & Responsibilities
The Project Associate-I will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing nanofiber-based drug delivery systems.
- Conducting physicochemical characterization of nano-formulations.
- Supporting laboratory experiments, maintaining research documentation, and contributing to publications.
- Assisting in report preparation and project-related presentations.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams within SOA and partner institutions.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Essential Qualification:
- M.Tech, M.S. (Pharm), M.Pharm, or M.Sc. in Pharmacy / Nanotechnology.
- Sound knowledge of nano-formulations in drug delivery.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Valid GPAT/GATE/NET or any other national-level entrance qualification (mandatory as per guidelines).
- Prior research experience with nano-based formulations will be an advantage.
- Other Conditions:
- The appointment is purely contractual and temporary.
- Continuation is based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending interviews.
