Apotex is hiring a Senior Analyst – Drug Information & Risk Management in Mumbai, Maharashtra to support its multidisciplinary healthcare team.
The role focuses on providing professional, unbiased, clinically relevant, and timely medical information regarding Apotex products to internal and external customers.
The position also involves Risk Management Plans, medical inquiry responses, medical literature research, safety information, medical documentation, and pharmacovigilance compliance.
Candidates with B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.Sc., BDS, or a Diploma in Health/Science-related discipline and 1–3 years of Pharmacovigilance experience can apply.
Senior Analyst – Drug Information & Risk Management
Job Summary
The Senior Analyst will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals supporting Apotex products in domestic and international markets.
The role involves coordinating the development of medical documents such as Risk Management Plans and Risk Evaluation Mitigation Plans, while providing medical information related to the safe and effective use of drugs manufactured and marketed by Apotex Inc. and its affiliates and distributors worldwide.
Job Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Provide verbal and written responses to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, sales representatives, and other internal customers regarding Apotex products.
- Evaluate, analyze, and respond to medical inquiries accurately, objectively, and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the preparation and updating of Risk Management & Risk Evaluation Mitigation Plans globally.
- Provide input into the medical sections of these plans using relevant regional templates.
- Apply technical and scientific skills to research and interpret medical information.
- Create and peer review new and revised medical information documents, including:
- Response documents
- Recall Q&As
- Bulletins
- Other medical information documents
- Participate in departmental and cross-functional business teams.
- Support team initiatives and contribute to team goals and projects according to business priorities.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs relating to adverse event and quality complaint reporting.
- Maintain awareness of current therapeutics and industry-based medical information regulations.
- Provide on-call coverage as per the assigned schedule.
- Assist in the preparation of reports.
- Update and maintain product databases and files as required.
- Work as a member of a team to achieve assigned outcomes.
- Perform work in accordance with established regulatory, compliance, and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties and special projects, including after-hours coverage of the DISPedia unit, as assigned.
- Work safely and collaborate with team members to achieve business outcomes.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
