Qualification: MSc in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry
Experience: 2-10 years
Work Location: Hyderabad

Job Responsibilities

1. Synthesis R&D

  • Executing Chemical Reactions: Conduct chemical reactions on scales ranging from milligrams to grams to synthesize required quantities of molecules or compounds as per client specifications using efficient routes and techniques.
  • Purification and Characterization: Purify compounds and interpret their characterization using analytical techniques such as NMR, LCMS, and HPLC.

2. Peptides R&D

  • Peptide Synthesis: Perform solid phase and solution phase peptide synthesis.
  • Handling Resins: Manage diverse resins for peptide synthesis and modification, including cyclization, disulfide bridge formation, stapling, and derivatization.
  • Automated Synthesizers: Experience in handling automated peptide synthesizers and peptide purification is desirable.
  • Documentation: Expertise in writing and maintaining an electronic lab notebook.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in organic or medicinal chemistry.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in NMR, LCMS, and HPLC.
  • Ability to perform solid phase and solution phase peptide synthesis.
  • Experience with peptide synthesizers and peptide purification is a plus.
  • Excellent documentation skills, particularly in maintaining electronic lab notebooks.
