Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Technical Assistant at Haystack Analytics, you’ll work in close coordination with laboratory partners, ensuring smooth technical operations and quality assurance. Your role will include:
- Coordinating with diagnostic lab partners for seamless test operations.
- Performing DNA extraction, RT-PCR, and related laboratory techniques.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting during testing and sequencing workflows.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of all technical and analytical processes.
- Supporting team members in analyzing sequencing data and interpreting results.
- Ensuring compliance with QA/QC protocols and biosafety standards.
Eligibility / Qualifications
To qualify for this exciting position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related disciplines.
- Experience: 0–6 months (Freshers are highly encouraged to apply!)
- Skills:
- Hands-on experience in DNA Extraction & RT-PCR.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with NGS platforms (Illumina, Nanopore) is an added advantage.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Note: This position is open for male candidates only due to the nature of rotational shifts.
Location & Salary
- Location: Bangalore
- CTC: ₹2.75 – 3 LPA (commensurate with experience)
- Work Schedule: Rotational shifts (Day & Night) | 6 days a week with rotational week off
