Job Role & Responsibilities

As an Officer in Microbiology (Sterile – Ophthalmic), you will play a critical role in ensuring the microbiological integrity and regulatory compliance of sterile formulations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting sterile area monitoring and microbiological testing of ophthalmic products.
• Handling environmental monitoring, water system validation, and sterility testing.
• Performing routine testing to ensure product and process compliance with USFDA and MHRA standards.
• Maintaining and calibrating microbiological instruments as per regulatory requirements.
• Supporting quality audits, documentation review, and deviation control.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the sterility assurance of manufacturing processes.

Key Skills:

• Sterile microbiology (Ophthalmic manufacturing preferred)
