Open Position: Senior Research Associate – Medicinal Chemistry

Location: BBRC Bacon Bristol-Myers Squibb RAD Center

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-step synthesis for various research projects.
• Utilize modern spectroscopy methods to analyze chemical reactions.
• Handle reactions ranging from milligram to gram scale.
• Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, documenting procedures, work-ups, and purifications.
• Interpret and analyze analytical data such as 1H NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, and IR.
• Manage air and moisture-sensitive reactions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• MSc in Organic Chemistry.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in medicinal chemistry.
• Proficiency in handling and interpreting complex analytical data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
