Job Role & Responsibilities

As an Officer in the Commercial Stability Laboratory, you will be responsible for analytical testing, regulatory compliance, and maintaining laboratory readiness for audits. Your key duties include:

  • Conduct stability sample analysis, method verification, and method transfer activities as per approved analytical procedures.
  • Oversee all activities in the Commercial Stability Laboratory, ensuring compliance with cGLP and departmental quality systems.
  • Perform instrument qualification, calibration, and documentation as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Prioritize and complete sample analysis on time to meet regulatory and project timelines.
  • Support continuous audit readiness and ensure adherence to all GLP, SOPs, test protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve documentation or testing-related issues promptly.
  • Contribute to the preparation, review, and revision of SOPs, test methods, and related documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to Apotex Global Quality Policies, Business Ethics, Safety, and Environmental standards.

Eligibility / Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

  • MSc (Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related fields), or
  • BPharm / Equivalent degree.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong command of analytical chemistry principles and GMP/GLP regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and electronic documentation tools.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork mindset.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment, preferably within a stability or quality control laboratory.
