Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Senior Safety Systems Specialist, you will:
- Assist in implementing, supporting, configuring, and migrating pharmacovigilance (PV) systems.
- Conduct project-specific configurations in drug safety systems like Argus, ARISg, Veeva, or equivalent.
- Document and maintain system configurations and updates.
- Develop, generate, and validate standard and ad hoc reports for safety data (PSURs, DSURs, listings).
- Support end users and sponsors with training and guidance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to document user requirements and deliver system solutions.
- Strategize use of front-end reporting tools, including Standard MedDRA Queries (SMQs).
- Participate actively in data migration activities and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, PV regulations, and global quality standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert in ticket management, issue resolution, and process optimization.
- Assist in drafting and updating SOPs, working practices, and departmental guidelines.
- Provide training modules and change management support for new system implementations.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, IT, or Computing (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- At least 3 years of experience with PV systems such as Argus, ARISg, or Veeva.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience in system integration and operations support.
Preferred Skills:
- Clinical background with exposure to validated document management systems.
- Good understanding of SQL programming.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
