Job Role & Responsibilities
As an Officer – Quality Control (QC), your responsibilities will include:
- Sampling and testing of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished pharmaceutical products.
- Performing analysis using advanced techniques such as HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and GC (Gas Chromatography).
- Operating laboratory instruments including Dissolution Testers, FTIR (Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy), Polarimeter, and Empower Software.
- Ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) including incident handling, OOS (Out of Specification) management, and documentation.
- Managing instrument-related software for data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Supporting continuous improvements in quality processes and maintaining global regulatory standards.
Eligibility / Qualifications
Educational Background:
- M.Sc (Science), B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy), or M.Pharm (Master of Pharmacy).
Experience Required:
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on expertise in HPLC/GC analysis, Empower software, and lab instrumentation.
- Knowledge of QMS practices such as deviations, incidents, and OOS investigations.
Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines.
